Public Service Portal

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Anti-Corruption Commission Public Service Portal ("Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Portal. These terms apply to all users of the Portal, including those who access services through eFaas authentication.

2. About the Portal

The Portal is operated by the Anti-Corruption Commission of the Republic of Maldives ("ACC") under the authority of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act (Law No. 13/2008). It provides citizens with online access to ACC services, including:

  • Filing complaints related to corruption or misconduct.
  • Submitting requests under the Right to Information Act.
  • Applying for corruption record clearance certificates.
  • Booking appointments with commission members.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the Portal, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in all submissions.
  • Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent complaints or requests.
  • Not use the Portal to harass, defame, or make unfounded allegations against any individual or organisation.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your eFaas credentials and not share access with others.
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Portal's systems or security measures.
  • Comply with all applicable laws of the Republic of Maldives.

4. Authentication via eFaas

Access to Portal services requires authentication through eFaas, the Maldives National Digital Identity Platform. By signing in, you authorise the Portal to receive your identity information from eFaas. You are responsible for any actions taken through your authenticated session. You must sign out after each session, particularly on shared devices.

5. Accuracy of Submissions

All complaints, RTI requests, clearance applications, and appointment requests submitted through the Portal are subject to verification. Submission of false information may constitute an offence under applicable Maldivian law. The ACC reserves the right to reject, close, or refer for investigation any submission found to be false or made in bad faith.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Portal, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of the Anti-Corruption Commission or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Portal content without prior written permission from the ACC.

7. Service Availability

The ACC makes reasonable efforts to ensure the Portal is available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Portal may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. The ACC shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from Portal unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Portal and its contents are provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, the ACC excludes all warranties, express or implied. The ACC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Portal or reliance on information contained within it.

9. Changes to Terms

The ACC reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be published on the Portal with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Portal after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes arising in connection with the Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Maldives.
